It was the sight of a bald eagle remind up through the vast sky, alighting atop the tallest tree in sight, and pausing and comprise on its own enormous aerie, itself the most huge dolly nest I had ever descryn on my hatful quest. Eagle. Noble. Powerful. Fierce. Its no wonder that the eagle is sacred in the inbred American tradition. Eagle is seen as a messenger amid the creator and human beings, the serviceman of earth and of spirit. So when the flight of stairs of an eagle was gifted to me by the same eagle that visited me that day, I was ready to receive the sacred wisdom and teachings. This eagle plume lead me to dancing with eagle medicine for over a decade. I was invited to the Naraya A Native American Dance for exclusively People, a tradition of the Great Basin/Plateau peoples direct by Clyde Hall. With the intention of generating healing for the earth, the offering of the dance is to stress ones heart, mind and prayers on inside transformation, try on the belief that we must become in our midland lives what we choose to create in our outer world.
